At NeoCon this year, taking place October 4-6 at The Mart, we will honor our rich heritage with a showroom overhaul like never before. Calling on the significant history of NeoCon and Scandinavian culture, the showroom celebrates new products by cultivating a modern yet historical design.

In this blog post, we highlight the Scandi-style table setting that is on display at the center of our NeoCon 2021 showroom, where you can explore an eclectic mix of dining chairs and one of our most beloved wooden tables.

With a captivating foliage display of natural dried wheat and grasses, details of the space will also tribute the ornate designs depicted in folktales and fables.

SANDER

The sleek, slender armchair portrays a subtle nod to the beloved 1950’s era of design, while staying classically modern and stylishly sophisticated. With a curved veneer back and gentle contour, the wooden chair effortlessly balances its distinct design with all day comfort. Available with or without armrests and an optional padded seat or back, Sander provides durable, functional art to high-traffic interior spaces.

FENDO

Crafted to provide maximum comfort in all spaces, the upholstered chair is highly multifunctional. Full of personality, Fendo’s distinct characteristics are beyond beautiful. The elegant division between the seat and back lend Fendo its sophisticated styling. Deliberately designed for versatility, Fendo equivalently belongs around the dining table, naturally clusters up in the lobby, and has a bold enough build to stand alone. Fendo is available with three base options; metal, metal with castors, or wood. The fashionable wooden legs can include an additional semi-upholstered option for dramatic flair.

MISS HOLLY

Innovation at its finest, Miss Holly is a reflection of the past and nod to the future. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Windsor style chair, designer Jonas Lindvall created a brilliant, refreshed look to a timeless classic. Made from solid wood, Miss Holly’s curvilinear backrest curves across the top and wraps around the sides - a design detail and manufacturing process that took years to perfect. The chair’s elegant frame is gracious in size and is equally attractive alone or grouped around a table. In addition, the Miss Holly bar stool, offered at two different heights and with a stainless steel footrest, beautifully complements the chair to create a cohesive space. A true work of art and labor of love, Miss Holly is crafted from solid ash or oak wood and is available in different finishes and colors.

PINNOCKIO

The chair, as timeless as its namesake, is crafted out of solid birch wood. Drawing inspiration from the traditional styling of the famous Windsor chair, designer Yngve Ekström designed Pinnockio to deliver versatility and grace to the modern-day interior. The elegant chairback is accentuated by seven spindles that narrow as they converge towards the top piece of wood. Pretty as a picture, Pinnockio’s durability and solid wood frame are not compromised by its beauty. Offered in various colors and finishes, Pinnockio is suitable for all workplace and hospitality environments.

WOODWORK

Woodwork is both a desk and a meeting table. The table design showcases the distinctive character of wood and has been developed for a modern, activity-based office environment – hence the name Woodwork. The ergonomic design ensures no one bangs their knees when they sit or move around the table. Woodwork's large shared surface creates a harmonious balance for the all-day workflow. The dining table sizes range from square or round tabletops with a pedestal base or a large rectangular topped table on a 4-legged frame. Various birch, ash, or oak finishes are available on all table sizes.
