The artwork created for the Lookbook Vol. 2 embodies our approach to product design – transforming traditional design and reimagining it in an artfully modern way.

Depicted on the front and back cover is an abstracted interpretation of the ornamental designs found on the Dala horse. Carved from wood and painted by hand, the Dala horse is a significant symbol of Sweden.

During the long winter months in the region of Dalarna, men working in the surrounding forests would carve miniature horses out of wood and bring them back to the children in the village. The toy horses provided a colorful beacon of hope during the cold woodland winters. As the treasured Dala horse grew in popularity, the sculptures became a cultural symbol representing Sweden's strength, courage, and beloved heritage.
